How to use the TeraBox player and TeraBox downloader in 4 steps
The whole thing takes less time than the TeraBox app takes to install.
- 1
Copy the share link
In WhatsApp, Telegram, a website or the TeraBox app, long press the link and copy it. It usually contains /s/ and a short code.
- 2
Paste it in the player
Tap the box at the top of this page and paste, or use the Paste button. Messy text around the link is fine.
- 3
Press Play
We read the link and show the file name and size. The video starts in your browser in a few seconds.
- 4
Watch or download
Watch full screen, or tap Download to save the MP4. Share a clean link to WhatsApp or Telegram if you like.
TeraBox online player: a TeraBox video player in your browser
Someone sends you a TeraBox link. You tap it, and instead of a video you get a wall: install the app, sign in, maybe buy Premium. Ontrepid Play removes that wall.
A TeraBox online player is a simple idea. The file is already public, because the uploader made a share link for it. All you need is a way to open that public file without signing up for anything. Our TeraBox player reads the share link, finds the real video file behind it, and hands it to the normal video player that is already built into Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox.
That means you watch TeraBox videos instantly, on the same tab, with the same controls you use for any other video. Seek, full screen, speed, Picture-in-Picture: it all just works. If you would rather keep the file, the same tool works as a TeraBox downloader and saves the original MP4 to your device.
Think of it as a TeraBox link downloader and a TeraBox video player in one: paste, and you watch TeraBox video instantly. It does not upload anything, it does not need your TeraBox password, and it does not leave anything behind on your phone. When you close the tab, it is gone.
We built it because the official route is slow for people who only want to watch one video a friend sent. An app that wants storage, permissions, notifications and an account is a lot to ask for a two minute clip. A browser tab is not.
Only open videos you have the right to watch. We are an independent tool, not part of TeraBox, and we do not host any files.
TeraBox player features: everything the app does, minus the app
Play without the app
No Play Store or App Store install, no storage used, no notifications. Your browser is the player: the cleanest way to play TeraBox videos without app.
No login, ever
No email, no phone number, no Google sign-in. We do not want your details and we do not keep the links you paste.
Instant HD playback
The stream starts as soon as the first part loads, at the quality the uploader shared.
Direct MP4 download
One tap saves the original file. A true TeraBox link downloader, not a screen recorder.
Any screen
Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, Mac, Chromebook and Smart TV browsers.
Share that actually plays
Send a clean player link to WhatsApp or Telegram so friends can watch without the app too.
A real mod APK alternative
No modified app, no unknown installer, no risky permissions. Just a web page.
Smart link fixing
Messy link with extra text or tracking bits? We pull out the share code and open the right file.
A TeraBox link downloader that works with every TeraBox domain
TeraBox share links arrive from many mirror domains. They all point to the same storage, and our TeraBox downloader reads all of them. Paste whatever you got.

Why we will never tell you to install a TeraBox mod APK
Is TeraBox itself safe? Read our TeraBox safety guide.
You cannot check what is inside
A mod APK is the TeraBox app opened up, changed by a stranger and packed again. Nobody can tell you what else was added to it. That is exactly why Android shows a warning before you install it.
It asks for too much
Many fake "Premium unlocked" builds ask for access to contacts, SMS or accessibility. A video player needs none of those. If an installer wants them, close it.
The safer route is already here
A browser based TeraBox mod APK alternative gives you the part you actually wanted, playing and saving the video, with nothing installed. More in our no-app guide.
TeraBox link downloader errors: read the message first
Every error the player shows has a reason. Some only the uploader can fix, some you can fix in ten seconds, and some just need a short wait.
File deleted or link expired
The uploader removed the file or set an expiry date. Ask them for a new link.
This link is a folder
Open the folder in TeraBox and copy the link of one video inside it.
The uploader cancelled this share
Sharing was switched off. Only the owner can share it again.
Not a TeraBox share link
You copied a page or a search link. Copy the link that has /s/ in it.
Password protected
Ask the sender for the code, or for an open link without a password.
Points to a photo or document
The player is for video files. Open other file types in TeraBox itself.
Try again in about 5 minutes
TeraBox is busy or rate limiting. A short wait usually fixes it.
Video stops or buffers
The TeraBox server is slow at that moment. Download the file instead, it often works better.

What is a TeraBox online player?
It is a web page that opens a public TeraBox share link and plays the video inside your browser. You skip the TeraBox app, the account screen and the storage it eats on your phone. Ontrepid Play is one of these: paste the link, press play.
Is Ontrepid Play free?
Yes. There is no plan, no trial and no card. You can play and save as many shared TeraBox videos as you like.
Do I need to log in or make an account?
No. We never ask for an email, a phone number or your TeraBox password. The player only needs the share link that someone sent you.
Is this a TeraBox downloader too?
Yes. After the link opens, the Download button saves the original file (usually MP4) straight to your phone or computer. It works as a TeraBox downloader and TeraBox link downloader online, with no extra app.
Is it safe compared to a TeraBox mod APK?
Much safer. A mod APK is a changed copy of the app from an unknown source and can carry adware or worse. Our player runs in your normal browser, installs nothing and never touches your files or contacts.
Which TeraBox links work?
Public share links that point to a single video, from terabox.com, terabox.app, 1024tera.com, 4funbox.com, mirrobox.com, nephobox.com, freeterabox.com, teraboxshare.com, terasharelink.com, terafileshare.com and the other TeraBox mirrors.
Why does my TeraBox link fail?
The most common reasons are a deleted or expired file, a password lock, a folder link instead of a video link, or TeraBox being busy. Our link error library explains each message and what to do.
Does the TeraBox video player work on iPhone, Android, PC and Smart TV?
Yes. It works in Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Samsung Internet and most TV browsers. On iPhone you even get Picture-in-Picture and AirPlay. See the iPhone guide and the TV and PC guide.
Do you store the videos or my links?
No. We do not host any files and we do not keep a history of the links you paste. The video comes from TeraBox's own servers to your screen.
Is Ontrepid Play an official TeraBox product?
No. We are an independent tool and have no link with TeraBox or its owner. Please only open videos you are allowed to watch.
